So, my plan to enamel today was dashed upon arriving at the studio. The sink was out of order which meant I had no access to water. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem but I’m at the stage where I need to clean my copper.
I’m currently taking a virtual Painting Enamel class through the Pocosin Arts School. This was week 2 of the 3-week course. I started working on a piece last week but wanted to make some additional blanks.

Instead, I spent my day preparing metal blanks for future projects, which meant cutting and then flattening multiple pieces before sanding the corners round. Then I have to dome each piece slightly before I clean them.
Prepping the copper sheet is the most boring and tedious part of enameling.
